Our training courses will provide you and your therapists with all of the skills necessary to perform a fast, efficient and thorough treatment, focusing on everything from how this system will fit into your work place to client comfort and correct product usage.

You will be given documentation to support what you learn on the day. To get the best out of the training, it is advised to have some models lined up for practice sessions in the days following the training. We offer a continued support to your company and can help with troubleshooting queries by telephoning us.

We run three different classes to suit your therapist’s needs and the needs of your business :-

Class 1: Introduction to the Lycon wax system – beginners
Class 2: Lycon Pression waxing – Advance
Class 3: Male Brazillian waxing – Advance

THE LYCON® PROFESSIONAL WAX SYSTEM TRAINING CLASSES.

CLASS 1 : INTRODUCTION TO THE LYCON SYSTEM

• Therapists will learn about the history of Lycon Wax and why Lycon is so different from any other wax on the market.
• Full product knowledge of the Lycon range along with the main ingredient breakdown will be explained.
• The unique procedure will be demonstrated, the Therapist’s will then perfect the art of Lycon waxing by practicing on each other. Areas that will be covered are: Eyebrows, Lips, Underarms, Bikini & G String waxes. Troubleshooting along with Tips and Hints will end the session ensuring your Therapists’ are confident and hooked on the Lycon Wax phenomenon!

• THERAPISTS MUST HAVE ATTENDED THE INTRODUCTION TO LYCON TRAINING OR HOLD A LYCON CERTIFICATE OF TRAINING.
• This course is for Therapists who have been using Lycon Hot Wax and wish to advance to the world of Brazilian and Hollywood waxing
• Our trainer will teach Therapists everything from Client Comfort, Correct Positioning and Client Modesty to precise application (straight lines) and techniques required.
• Full troubleshooting will be covered along with beneficial Hints & Tips to ensure the Therapists leave with the confidence to complete the perfect Brazilian and Hollywood wax.
• Therapists will practice on each other and will have completed a Brazilian or Hollywood wax by the end of the day.

• Learning the precise technique for Male Precision waxing
• Our trainer will teach Therapists everything from Client Comfort, Correct Positioning and Client Modesty to precise application and techniques required.
• Full troubleshooting will be covered along with beneficial Hints & Tips to ensure the Therapists leave with the confidence to complete the perfect Male Brazilian.
• Therapists will then practice on their models and will have completed a Male Brazilian by the end of the day.

Out-house training is available at your requested location. Classes will run for 6.5 hours with a 30 minute break and will cover all of the above. The fee for this training is £150 for the first 4 Therapists, additional Therapists are Free of Charge. An Out-house fee of £190 is added. The Total cost will be £790 + vat. IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DISCLAIMER

• All Therapists participating in Lycon training must already be fully trained in waxing (holding an NVQ2 or equivalent).
• Therapists will work on each other or supply a model. We are not able to supply Models for training. Models are not allowed in the Training Room until they are required.
• If, during training in the Advanced Waxing class, the trainer feels that a therapist is not proficient enough in advanced waxing, she will ensure that this therapist does only the basic waxing and exclude Brazillian waxing and this will be reported back to the Salon Owner.
• Each participant MUST be prepared and ready to be waxed. – I.e. adequate hair growth of waxing length, no contra-indications etc.
• If the above two conditions are not met, the participant MUST bring a model.
• Dress code is normal work wear with hair tied back.
• Therapists must arrive at least 10minutes before class starts. Anyone entering a class more than 30 minutes late will be asked to re-book and will automatically lose their booking fee.
• Feedback is provided from both Trainer and participants at the end of the session (documented on Form 2 & 3), ensuring our Training continues to be of an excellent standard.
• Certificates are posted out after training.
• Any cancellations must be notified first verbally and confirmed in writing at least 2 weeks before the training date or the fee will not be refunded.
• Unfortunately we are unable to run classes that have less than 4 candidates. In the unlikely event of a under subscribed class we may contact you to inform you of alternative training dates. In this circumstance we are not to be held responsible for loss of revenue. We will ensure that the notice period we give you to reschedule a class will be no less than 10 days. We therefore would advise you to book your travel arrangement after the 10th date prior to your training date.
